How to play Chess School
Start with the six movement lessons: each puts one piece on the board, and you tap every square it can move to. Pieces in the way block it, and enemy pieces can be captured, so you learn the rules by finding them. Then try eight checkmate-in-one puzzles, including the back-rank mate, smothered mate and Arabian mate. Tap a white piece, then the square to move it to. A hint shows which piece to move, and every solved puzzle explains why it is checkmate.
Controls
